This quilt pattern by Stephanie Soebbing of Quilt Addicts Anonymous comes with instructions for a Small Lap (48″ x 48″), Large Lap (72″ x 72″, pictured) and Queen (96″ x 96″).
This month’s Stashin’ with Stephanie quilt is a reinterpretation of one of our most popular block of the month patterns, Burst.
I created a new block design that is true to the original block shape that perfectly separates the light value prints from the light background. That allows you to use all the prints in a line, without having any of them get lost so your entire block can pop.
I just love how it turned out in Birdwatch by Boccaccini Meadows for FIGO Fabrics. The fabrics really read as a neutral and the greens are super trendy right now in home decor, so you cannot go wrong with this line. It’s gorgeous.
Unlike the original BOM, we are just using one block design throughout. That makes it much easier, faster and fat quarter friendly.
And while those points might look challenging, they’re not any more difficult than sewing a half square triangle from squares and we walk you through it step-by-step in the video tutorial.
Burst Revisited is part of our Stashin’ with Stephanie subscription club. Members get FREE monthly patterns, plus they get a brand-new fabric bundle each month and exclusive discounts on club fabric. Learn more and sign up here.
