It’s Stashin’ with Stephanie time again where we take a fat quarter bundle and make a new fast, fun, scrappy quilt design with it.
This month we are working with Meriweather from the Art Gallery Fabrics Studio. The soft pink and peach florals paired with deep teals, greens and browns really make the start design pop. Plus, who wouldn’t want to work with flowers on a gloomy winter day?
As you’ll see in the video, the design looks a lot harder than it is. We start with basic strip piecing, then cover how to cut equilateral triangles from the strip set and sew the diamonds together into horizontal rows to avoid Y-seams!
And as always the tutorial is packed with tips and tricks to make your quilting more accurate and your points perfectly pointy!
