Beginner Crochet

Always wanted to try crochet but didn’t know where to start? Instructor Josie Sikardi will teach you basic double crochet stitch, helping you learn where to place the hook and yarn to create fast, consistent stitches.

You can use the stitch to create an afghan or small baby blanket. Then branch out into other designs once you have the basics down.

Supplies:

• DK weight yarn (900 yards if you want to make a baby blanket)
• Size H Crochet Hook

The classes are at Quilt Addicts Anonymous, 1232 30th St., Rock Island, IL. You must purchase the class in order to sign up. Since space is limited, cancellations made within 48 hours of the class will not be refunded.
