Afternoon Picnic is the perfect quilt for anyone who loves half square triangles, or wants to be able to practice them to get better.
The entire quilt is made up of HSTs, grouped together by color to form a quilt block. The result is a straight forward, easy-to-sew layout, with a design that makes the blocks appear to be suspended on point.
In other words, my favorite type of quilt, one that looks harder than it actually is.
