This quilt pattern from Stephanie Soebbing of Quilt Addicts Anonymous is lap-sized and measures 67 1/2″ x 69 3/4″.

This pattern uses a 60-degree triangle ruler with all three points, like the Clearview Triangle (click here to purchase).

I am in LOVE with this month’s Stashin’ with Stephanie design. I actually had something quite different in mind, but when I realized that my original idea would require massive amounts of background fabric, I made the switch to a medallion star design and the results are fantastic!

Sparkle is one big star, and while it looks stunning, it is actually pretty simple to put together. There are NO Y-seams in the quilt, and I break down how to sew your diamond blocks and turn them into easy to assemble wedges that make up the quilt top. You’re going to love it.

The best part is this really goes very fast. I managed to create mine from start to finish in about two weeks including the quilting!

This month’s quilt uses Thistle Patch by Teresa Magnuson for Clothworks. The purple, greens and charcoals are so pretty and will be a fun distraction from any dreary fall days. And the design splits up the light, medium and dark fabrics, so the light fabrics won’t get lost against the background.
