Ultraviolet Quilt Kit - Lap-sized - Featuring Art Theory by Alison Glass for Andover $84.50

Order a Finishing Kit to complete the Ultraviolet quilt top if you received or will be receiving an Art Theory Stashin’ with Stephanie fabric bundle in late November 2021. If you signed up for the club in November, your first Stashin’ bundle will come in December.

Combine this finishing kit with your November 2021 Stashin’ with Stephanie fabric bundle to complete the Ultraviolet lap-sized quilt top (pictured) featuring fabric from Art Theory by Alison Glass for Andover Fabrics.

The finishing kit comes with FIVE new fat quarters of Art Theory plus background and binding fabric. Quilt finished size is 66 1/4″ x 69″.

If you received the ‘A’ bundle in the mail, you will want to order an ‘A’ Finishing Kit. If you got the B bundle at home, order the ‘B’ Finishing Kit, and if you got the ‘C’ at home, order the ‘C’ Finishing kit. This way you will not get any duplicate fat quarters! Check the inside tag on your fabric bundle at home to see which finishing kit you should order or check the list we provided in the pattern release email.

Don’t forget to add your free Ultraviolet PDF Pattern to your cart.

The Ultraviolet pattern uses an equilateral triangle ruler like the Clearview Triangle Ruler linked here.

About Ultraviolet

I know what you’re thinking … that’s a lot of little diamonds. But guess, what, we’re strip piecing this baby and you don’t have to cut a single tiny diamond!

For Ultraviolet, this month’s Stashin’ with Stephanie pattern inspired by this month’s Alison Glass Art Theory bundle, we are using offset strip piecing to create 60-degree pieced diamonds.

By placing the fabrics strategically from light to dark we are able to create a really cool effect when all the diamond blocks are assembled with NO Y-seams!

In this month’s tutorial I not only show you how to piece the block with loads of tips on how I got all my points just right. But I also cover how to assemble the rows into wedges, join the rows and join the wedges to complete the quilt top.

This top can absolutely be completed by an advanced beginner. Just take it slow, mark your 1/4 inch on the wrong side of your rows, like I show you in the video and you too will have an awesome quilt with points that will make all your quilty friends jealous.
