Combine this finishing kit with your March 2022 Stashin’ with Stephanie fabric bundle to complete the lap-sized Seeing Stars quilt top (pictured) featuring fabric from Martha by Andrea Patton for FIGO Fabrics.

Each finishing kit includes FIVE additional Martha fat quarters that you did not receive in your bundle at home in addition to background fabric.

If you received the ‘A’ bundle in the mail, you will want to order an ‘A’ Finishing Kit variation. Same with ‘B’ and ‘C’. This way you will not get any duplicate fat quarters! Check the inside tag on your fabric bundle at home to see which finishing kit you should order or check the following alphabetical listing by last name:

Members who were sent A bundle: B. Adams – C. Garrison (Order an A finishing kit variation)

About Seeing Stars

This month’s Stashin’ with Stephanie pattern combines my two favorite blocks, the sawtooth star and log cabin.

We are using four-at-a-time no-waste flying geese, which is fast and the most accurate way I know of to make flying geese. We’re also using the Marti Michell method for cutting log cabin strips on the length of fabric which is less stretchy than the width of fabric.

Using those methods, plus pressing our seams open, means you’ll have log cabin blocks that turn out the right size, and don’t get super wonky. And as always I cover it all in the video tutorial to go along with the pattern.

Our fabric this month is Martha by Andrea Patton for FIGO Fabrics. I love the dusty pinks and soft colors. We also used a medium scale fabric for the background, which is fabulous if you have kids, pets, significant others who spill coffee, or any combination of the three.

I worked really hard to make sure the color values were placed in a way to make each fabric in the line stand out. I love how it turned out and my team has been ooing and aahing over it as well.
