This quilt kit includes fabric for the lap-sized quilt top as pictured to make Radiance, a fat-quarter friendly pattern that is part of the Stashin’ with Stephanie series.
The pattern for Radiance is a PDF download and must be purchased separately by clicking here.
Also, this quilt requires a 60-degree ruler like the Clearview Triangle 8″ Ruler, which you can purchase by clicking here.
For Radiance, we are working with Pat Bravo’s Nuncia line from Art Gallery Fabrics to create a fat quarter friendly diamond quilt with NO Y-Seams! Plus this quilt is assembled into vertical rows, so assembly is fast, making this pattern perfect for a confident beginner or intermediate quilter.
In the video we cover how to cut 60 degree triangles and diamonds from strips, how to sew them together and press for super fat seams and perfect points, and give you some great tips to make sure your triangle points always match up when you are joining your rows.
Radiance looks a lot more challenging than it is. You’ll see when you watch the video that the triangle blocks are pretty easy to sew together when you break it down.
This quilt pattern is available in crib, lap, twin and queen sized. And Nuncia pairs perfectly with Pat Bravo’s earlier release, Legendary, which we still have at Quilt Addicts Anonymous. We suggest getting fat quarter bundles of both to make this quilt queen sized and create the ultimate modern scrappy look.
