This month’s Stashin’ with Stephanie pattern is seriously the easiest and fastest fat quarter-friendly quilt design we have ever done. I got this month’s quilt done in two nights or work and a day of sewing. That’s it!
This month we are working with Retro Rove by Lemonni for FIGO Fabrics. The line is inspired by 80s architecture and colors. There are 13 prints in the line, and you received the 12 I used for the main fat quarter prints in the quilt. We held the 13th back to be used for the background.
Now onto the quilt! My design was inspired by my bathroom floor tile.
Yes, you read that right. I have one of those pink and mauve 1950s bathrooms. I hate it, but I have been staring at the floor tile for 11 years thinking, this would make an awesome quilt. And now it officially has.
I changed the layout up a bit so that there would only be full, complete seams that can be sewn together to make up six sections in the quilt. That way there are no partial seams. I love how the design really allows you to show off your favorite prints in a big, bold way.
