It’s time to bust your stash again with Modern Rainbow Bargello, a super fast and easy quilt that is part of the Stashin’ with Stephanie Series.
The original pattern was designed using fabrics from the Kaffe Fassett Collective Spring 2019 collection. The bright bold colors work great in a no-neutral rainbow and the big prints look fabulous in the large pieces of the bargello.
I just LOVE a good rainbow quilt. There is something about getting all the colors into one quilt. And it is even more fun when you can do it in a fast and easy way, like in this pattern and tutorial!
The Modern Rainbow Bargello is super fast. If I hadn’t left one strip set for filming, I would have easily finished this quilt top from start to finish in one day.
This quilt is almost entirely strip pieced into a fabric tube, then you just cut the tube apart at specific intervals to create the staggered look of the rainbow. No seam ripper needed.

The quilt can be made in three sizes, throw, twin and queen.
