Demo Day – Know Your Sewing Machine, 2 p.m. Saturday, March 23
Your sewing machine is a power tool! Learn how much you can do with it from Tim Shields, the second generation owner of Shields Sewing Center with stores in Davenport and Iowa City. He’ll show you some of the fabulous things your sewing machine is capable of and will help make sewing easier.
This is a great demo to attend if you just want to learn more about your machine, or are considering upgrading at any time in the next year. Tim will be demonstrating on several different machines so you can see what features are available depending on your budget as well as comparing the new machines to antiques.
