Rulers can give your quilting a wow factor without having to spend hours and hours perfecting a design. In this hands on longarm quilting class, Stephanie Soebbing will walk you through using rulers to create beautiful, consistent designs in your quilting.
You will work with straight lines, arcs and circles to create fabulous designs that bring your quilting from so-so to stunning. Stephanie will show you her favorite rulers and the variations that can be created with each design, and you will practice on her APQS longarm quilting machine.
Since there is just one longarm, the class will be limited to three students, so that you can get plenty of hands on experience.
The course costs $45 for 3 hours of instruction from Stephanie, and all the supplies are included in the cost of the class. Just bring yourself, a notebook and a smartphone if you want to photograph or film any of the demonstrations.
The classes are at Quilt Addicts Anonymous, 1232 30th St., Rock Island, IL. You must purchase the class in order to sign up. Since space is limited, cancellations made within 48 hours of the class will not be refunded.
