Upcycled Sweater Mittens

Learn how to turn your old sweaters into adorable mittens in the Upcycled Sweater Mittens Class with Stephanie Soebbing.

You will use Stephanie’s original patterns to cut up those old, shrunken, hideous sweaters of Christmas past into adorable mittens. Seriously, the uglier the sweater, the cuter the mittens. And this project is so fast, you will leave class with a completed set of mittens.

So sign up, raid your closet or head off to the thrift shop and get ready to upcycle those sweaters.

Supplies:

• Sewing machine
• Thread
• 1/4 yard fleece
• The ugliest sweater you can find, make sure it has a ribbed sleeve that is tight around your wrist

The class is at Quilt Addicts Anonymous, 1232 30th St., Rock Island, IL. You must purchase the class in order to sign up. Since space is limited, cancellations made within 48 hours of the class will not be refunded.
