Alphabet Soup with Heather Todd

Learn to make letters for your quilts quickly and easily using Jaybird Quilts new Alphabet Soup book. The technique uses Jaybird Quilts’ signature style, and cutting tools to create letters and numbers with no Y-seams.

Heather Todd, the Quad Cities Jaybird Quilts expert, will walk you through creating a “QUILT” banner. But if you would rather make another word that is OK. By then end of class you will have the skills you need to quilt the entire alphabet.

Then you can use it to make banners, pillows, wall hangings or put the name of the recipient on your quilt backs.
