Tara Curtis, creator of the WEFTY needle, lecture

6 p.m. Thursday, September 14, 2017

Tara J Curtis creates multi-dimensional, functional fabric art for the home using classic and madweave techniques.

An enthusiastic teacher, Tara is dedicated to helping other sewists incorporate weaving into their projects while teaching them a new skill. Come to her lecture at Quilt Addicts Anonymous to learn about how she invented the WEFTY, the only needle made by a weaver designed specifically for use with fabric strips and bias strips.

You’ll be hooked on this fun new way to make fabric using strips.

The lecture is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 14, 2017, at Quilt Addicts Anonymous, 1232 30th St., Rock Island, IL. You must purchase the class in order to sign up. Since space is limited, cancellations made within 48 hours of the class will not be refunded.
