Fabric weaving is a fun way to create a beautiful fabric design with barely any sewing. You’ll trade in your fancy rulers for some pins, foam core board and a WEFTY Needle, invented by national instructor Tara Curtis.
Students will master Tara Curtis’ the Madweave design called Stars and have a panel to use as you would any other textile. Students bring fabric strips ready to weave (instructions provided over email). Solids, crosshatch prints, batiks, and small prints work best for weaving.
Students can choose from three different Star variations and will leave class with a finished fabric panel.
